Great first meeting!

It was really great to see everybody come to the first meeting. Lots of good energy! I liked the LavLaw recaps and want to hear more from Nick about what went on after the panel sessions...

Special guest PRIDE President Sam came to spread the word that both PRIDE and Pride Law are committed to working together in a mutually beneficial way. She announced that the very first ever USD PRIDE dance was coming in early October and encouraged everyone to come OUT! We are fam-i-leeeeee!

Of course, then I got on a roll telling all the 1Ls about the hate crime incidents we had last year...and Shelly had to bring things back to the reason we exist -- to be supportive, inclusive, and social.

Look for meetings in WH 315 every other Thursday at noon, and the Thursdays in between on the grass between Warren and the LRC. Spread the word!
