About the Program:
The Annual Pride Law Panel will discuss a variety of career experiences including Deputy DA to Judge and JAG Corps to Real Estate. The panel will also discuss some of the challenges faced as members of the GLBTQQA community within the legal profession.

THLA board mtg - Feb 5th @530 at the center (Tonight!) - www.thla.org
Upcoming Events
1)Atty mixer – (Jenn and Ben are organizing) This event will be a shortened panel and a mixer after, featuring a cross-section of atty’s in the community - Career Services is cosponsoring and will be helping us out with getting atty’s and publicity. If anyone has a type of practice they would like to see represented, email usdpridelaw@gmail.com and let us know.
2)Post Prop 8 panel w/ Professors –( Nick. Aiming for March). - Prof. David McGowan has expressed interest in doing a speaker event on “what we can do” to promote equality, etc. We will be asking some some Profs to join in the event. -- More details to come
3)Hate crimes speaker – (Michelle - Goal Date: Mid April – the NDoS – 04-17-09) -- We will be talking to Judge Rubin and some others for this event -- More details will come
We are looking for help with these events. Please volunteer to help out with at least one event this semester! It will be a small time commitment.

Brief Reminder: Dues - $10 - Make check out to Pride Law, put in pride law mailbox

We will be trying to organize our meetings with the new Reproductive Law Society in order to avoid future time conflicts! The RLS deals with GLBT issues, and Pride Law members are welcome.
