Welcome Back

Hello Pride Law-ers,

Happy 2009! Hope you are all excited for the new semester and the great events Pride Law has in the works. We are looking for volunteers to help organize some of the Pride Law events, so all our members will have an opportunity for some leadership experience and a chance to get more involved.

The events we would like to have this semester are:
The attorney panel/mixer (Mid Feb): This is an annual event where local attorneys come and do a panel, and this year we will be having a mixer after the panel to allow everyone a chance to chat.
Hate Crimes Speaker or Panel (Mid April). Hopefully this can happen during Coming out Week, to coincide with the National Day of Silence.
Don’t Ask Don’t Tell Panel: Co-Sponser with the Veteran’s club (?) and Career Services. Date TBA.

Helping out with one of these events is a great way to not only help Pride Law, but also network with your classmates and the speakers themselves.
